Intended to showcase how each person is unique and how we need to treat others with kindness, this lesson provides an important foundation in affirming our differences in order to prevent bullying and teasing later in life.

Lesson 2: Puberty and Reproduction

Lesson 1: Making Sense of Puberty

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: 1. Describe at least three changes that take place during puberty. [Knowledge] 2.Differentiate between what could be considered physical, and what are social and emotional changes of puberty. Lesson 3: Lesson 6: Your Body, Your Rights

This lesson addresses sexual harassment and sexual abuse therefore teachers are urged to let the school counselor know that this topic will be addressed and may be sensitive for some students as it may be a trigger to come forward about themselves or someone they know being abused or harassed.
